PARTNERING WITH US

St Stephen’s Global welcomes support and partnerships from people and organisations that are committed to improving education in our region.

We work collaboratively with like-minded organisations to develop relationships and to build educational capacity in schools and universities both in Australia and thoughout the region. For example:

  • St Stephen’s School is a member of the Indian Ocean Rim Education Network (IOREN)
  • the School was recently awarded a Reconciliation WA grant of $2000 to support our work with our remote independent indigenous partner schools, Yiyili and Purnululu Aboriginal School

There are many projects for which St Stephen’s Global would welcome financial and in-kind support:

  • establishing the St Stephen’s Global Student Service Tour Foundation to financially assist students to attend our international service tours who could not otherwise afford to participate
  • assisting with the development of a special needs education unit at St John’s University, Tanzania to help trainee teachers better accommodate African children with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • developing online blended vocational education and training courses (VET) in business, ICT and education to offer to Indian Ocean Rim countries to provide skills and training to students and adults
  • supporting the work of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) to develop and strengthen Christians schools in Madagascar
  • providing online curriculum materials and learning apps to support digital education in schools around the Indian Ocean Rim such as the Madagascar Christian Academy and Kenyan schools using the portable Kio Kit digital learning device
  • assisting with staff and adult service tours to countries of the Indian Ocean Rim to help train teachers and support schools and learning
